We issued everyone a FREE School ID at the beginning of the year. This is a safety issue to ensure that students on campus daily are Port Barre students. If a student forgets their ID, they will be charged $1.00 for a temporary ID, and if they do not have it, the cost will be charged to their account. The cost for a new ID is $5.00.
I want to make parents and guardians aware of this SAFETY concern. Please ensure that students have their ID when arriving on campus. From this point forward, after three temporary IDs, it will be considered a minor infraction. The second minor infraction will result in one day of ISS.
We are teaching young men and women to be responsible and to understand that SAFETY comes first. We ask for your help in ensuring they have their ID when they come to campus. Also, please understand the charges it places on their account if they do not have one when they arrive at school.
